Sebastian Świderski

President of the Polish Volleyball Association

In the years 1996-2011, he was a player in the Polish national volleyball team, participating in 322 official matches. He won a silver medal at the World Championships in 2006 and competed in the Olympics twice. He played for Polish and Italian volleyball clubs, winning the Polish championship three times and being a runner-up twice. He also won the Polish Cup, Italian Cup, and Italian Super Cup multiple times. Throughout his career, he received numerous individual awards, from the national level to the Olympics.

After retiring as a player in 2012, he began working as a coach. In this role, he won the Super Cup with ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and in October 2015, he assumed the position of the president of the club’s board. Under his leadership, ZAKSA finished the league competitions in first place four times and second place twice, also winning the Polish Cup and Super Cup several times and triumphing in the Champions League.

In 2021, he was elected as the president of the Polish Volleyball Association. He was named the Super Champion of the Przegląd Sportowy Plebiscite in 2022.
