Volleyball Player, Volleyball Coach, Head of the Project for Volleyball Training Centers
A volleyball player, volleyball coach, and sports official. Vice President of the PZPS (Polish Volleyball Federation) Board for Training during the 2004-2008 term. A graduate of coaching studies at the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice and Krakow. He began his career with MKS Sosnowiec. From 1966 to 1979, he was a volleyball player for Płomień Milowice, with whom he won the Men’s European Volleyball Cup (1978) and two Polish championships (1977 and 1979).
Coach: Płomień Milowice, Kazimierz Płomień Sosnowiec, Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski, Mostostal-Azoty Kędzierzyn-Koźle, GTPS Gorzów Wielkopolski, PZU AZS Olsztyn, Chemik Bydgoszcz, Polish Senior Men’s National Team (2001-2003).
Volleyball achievements: Polish Championship: 1977 and 1979, Men’s European Volleyball Cup: 1978.
Coaching achievements: Polish Cup (1987, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002), Polish Championship (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003), bronze medal at the Polish Championship (1999); Champions League: 4th place in the final in Opole (2002), 3rd place in the final in Milan (2003). He is the first Polish coach to defeat the Brazilian national team on their own territory with the Polish national team.
Currently, since 2012, the Head of the Project for Volleyball Training Centers.
