Tomasz Rega

Politician, Sports Activist

Tomasz Rega is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Management, majoring in Administration, and History at the Faculty of Humanities at the Kazimierz Wielki Academy of Bydgoszcz. In addition, he completed postgraduate studies in “Master of Business Administration” at Torun University – Jagiellonian College. He also began doctoral studies at this university.

From 2002 to 2018, he continuously held a seat as a councilor of the City of Bydgoszcz. In 2007-2009 he was associated with the Zawisza Bydgoszcz Football Association, first as a Member of the Board and then as its Vice President. Between 2011 and 2016, he ran his own business. In subsequent years, he worked as Director of the Totalizator Sportowy Bydgoszcz Branch.

Since 2019, he has served as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Regional Municipal Waste Disposal Plant RYPIN sp. z o.o., and since 2021 as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Orlen Południe S.A..

Since 2021, he has served on the Board of Directors of Krajowa Grupa Spożywcza S.A. Currently on the position of Member of the Board, and previously twice held the position of Acting President of the Board.

Participant of many training courses in marketing, sales and public relations. In his professional activities he popularizes an active lifestyle. Amateur sports such as skiing, table tennis, cycling.
