Stanisław Bisztyga

Councilor of the Małopolskie Voivodeship

Economist, politician, and local government official, an active and engaged social activist, a senator of the 7th term, and a councilor in the 6th term of the Małopolskie Voivodeship. He graduated from the Faculty of Commodity and Service Economics at the Krakow University of Economics. He obtained a doctoral degree in the field of tourism at the Krakow Academy of Physical Education. Until 1989, he worked in the city hall, and then he assumed the position of Director for Economic and Personnel Affairs at Chemobudowa Kraków S.A. From 1994 to 2002, he served on the Krakow City Council. In 2011, he became the Vice President of the Board of the Małopolskie Regional Development Agency. A lover of mountain tourism and sports.

In the Małopolskie Voivodeship Regional Council, he is involved in the work of the Culture Committee, the Education, Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee, the Health Protection Committee, as well as the Audit Committee.
