Sławomir Stempniewski

Vice president for refereeing matters of the Mazovian Football Association

Slawomir Stempniewski, born in Warsaw on September 26, 1961, with a master’s degree in theology. Technician-electronic engineer. Owner of “Slawmir Electronics”, founded in 1983, with an office also in the United States. Co-owner of a packaging company, investor in the hotel and restaurant industry.

From 1985 to 2006, he was a soccer referee (1997-2006 international). As chief referee, he refereed in the then Third League, and as assistant referee, he refereed more than 1,000 matches (including almost 100 inter-county matches, Champions League and UEFA Cups). Then, from 2007-2012, he served as Chairman of the PZPN Referees’ College and as a FIFA and UEFA observer.

Known in particular as a refereeing expert in the Canal+ soccer magazine “Liga+ Extra,” which he left after 12 years in 2021, when the club RKS Radomiak Radom was promoted to the top division.

Member of the Supervisory Board of “Ekstraklasa SA” since 2022.

Airplane pilot since 2003. Member of Aeroclub of Warsaw, where he serves as vice-president.

Since 2015, co-owner and president of the club RKS Radomiak Radom, which at the time was promoted to the Second League after bargaining. In 2019, the club was promoted to the “Fortuna 1 Liga”, and in 2021 won promotion to the “PKO BP Ekstraklasa”.
