Savina Nedyalkova
Head of the Strategic Planning, Analysis, and Foresight Department at the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria
Savina Nedyalkova is a Tourism expert with more than 15 years of experience. Currently, she served as Head of the Strategic Planning, Analysis, and Foresight Department at the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria. Previously, she worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Accor, and as an IT Analyst for IBM.
Savina has been a Member of the European Commission’s Tourism Advisory Committee since 2016. In 2019, she was an Adviser for Sustainable Development and Innovation for the Balkan Alliance of Hospitality Associations.
Savina holds a Master’s degree in EU Law from Sofia University with an Inter-University Degree in European Union Law and Litigation from the Universitié de Lorraine, France in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism. Her current focus is on digital transformation supported by her Doctoral research on the role of blockchain technologies for the EU economy, as she is a Ph.D. candidate in EU Economic studies at Sofia University.
Her professional experience and prime interests lie in public policy design and implementation, sustainable development, digital transformation, and EU Affairs. She speaks English and German and uses French and Russian languages.
