Robert Korzeniowski

Olympic Champion

The only Pole to reach the title of Olympic champion four times and the first athlete in the history of Polish sport to win a gold medal at three Games in a row: in Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000 (double victory in the 20km and 50km walk) and Athens 2004 .
First Director and co-founder of the Cracovia Marathon. During his athletic career, he supported the activities of student sports clubs “UKS Korzeniowski.pl”. In 2014, he founded the athletics club RK Athletics in Warsaw, which he still runs today as the main sports project of the Robert Korzeniowski Foundation. Together with his wife, Justyna Korzeniowska, as Walking Lovers Korzeniowskis, they develop the idea of sports walking.
In 2011-2012, he served as an advisor to UEFA Events on Marketing and PR of Club Prestige business packages for UEFA EURO 2012, to become involved with Mentor in the creation of the Sports Market Insurance Office after the destination event.
Member of the PKOL International Commission (since 2012) Ambassador and Eurosport expert for the Discovery Group (since 2018), member of the World Athletics Holl of Fame (since 2014), UNICEF Poland Goodwill Ambassador (since 2017), Ambassador of the Polish Paralympic Team (since 2021).
Since 2000, he has been appearing as a motivational speaker and conducting workshops on effective achievement of business goals. He is a lecturer at Kozminski University and a member of the Program Council of the Academy of Sport Psychology conducting studies in sport psychology.
