Physiotherapist, graduate of the Faculty of Rehabilitation, AWF Warsaw, rector of the Józef Piłsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw.
Author of more than 230 scientific positions and participant of more than 200 conferences. Intern at the University of Montana. Cooperates with scientific centers in the USA, Czech Republic, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania and Turkey, among others. Participated in the implementation of international projects including EUSAPA, THENAPA II, Job Coaching, RehabUkr. Directed or participated in research projects of the International Paralympic Committee (Vancouver 2010, London 2012). Coordinator of the program “PE with AWF – Active today for future health”.
Member of the Council for Social Affairs of the National Development Council to the President of the Republic of Poland. Member of the Committee on Rehabilitation, Physical Culture and Social Integration of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Scientific Editor of the quarterly journal Advances in Rehabilitation.
International classifier of people with disabilities in wheelchair basketball. Former coach of wheelchair basketball and also wheelchair rugby.
