Responsibility for the operation of the Sports Division, financing of sports from the state budget, support for national sports federations, the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, and elite athletes. As the General Director, he is involved in coordinating sports infrastructure projects financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic and from EU Structural Funds. He also serve as the Director of the Supervisory Board of the Fund for the Support of Sport (aimed at providing financial support for investments in sports infrastructure). Additionally, He is responsible for the introduction and implementation of the Sports Strategy of the Slovak Republic 2021-2026.

Member of the Stadium & Security Committee of UEFA, Nyon (Switzerland).
