Jolanta Żyśko
Vice-Rector for Promotion and Development at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw
Jolanta Żyśko holds a habilitation degree in physical culture sciences. Since 1990, she has been engaged in scientific research in the field of sports organization and management. Currently, she serves as the Vice-Rector for Promotion and Development at the Józef Piłsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. She completed a one-year research stay at the University of Loughborough. She has delivered lectures at various foreign universities, including in Cologne, Jyväskylä, Bayreuth, and Kaunas. From 2014 to 2017, she was a member of the expert group of the European Commission on human resource management in sports. Currently, she holds the position of Chairperson of the Council for the Education and Training of Physical Culture Personnel appointed by the Minister of Sport.
She is a member of numerous national and international organizations, including serving as the Secretary-General of the International Society for Social Sport Sciences – ISSSS and as a board member of the European Association for Sport Management – EASM. In 2016, she organized the XXIV conference of the European Association for Sport Management, which took place in Warsaw. She was the President of the Polish Sports Managers Corporation. She collaborates with the Polish Accreditation Commission as an expert and also as an expert in the field of education quality.
