President of the Handball Association of Poland

President of the Handball Association of Poland since 2010. Previously – from 2001 to 2010 – he was chancellor of the Jędrzej Śniadecki Academy of Physical Education and Sports in Gdańsk. For many years he was an international handball referee. In 1999 – after leaving refereeing – he became a delegate of the European Handball Federation. From 1991, he served two terms as chairman of the Audit Committee of the ZPRP, and from 1999 he was vice-president and member of the association’s Board of Directors. Between 1999 and 2012, he was chairman of the ZPRP Referees’ College. During the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he served as the manager of our national team, where the Polish team won fourth place. Since 2017, he has served as chairman of the Supervisory Board of the PGNiG Superleague. In 2013-2017 he was a member of the Audit Committee, and since April 2017 he has been a member of the Board of the Polish Olympic Committee.
