Dr Seweryn Dmowski
Researcher of modern soccer and strategic consultan
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw, combines research and teaching work at the university with strategic consulting in the field of communication and marketing. Advisor to the Board of Directors of Ekstraklasa SA on communications in 2013-2016, Director of PR and club media at Legia Warsaw in 2016-2017, then working on projects with Wisla Kraków, CANAL+ and Wisla Płock, among others. He gained experience during internship trips to Premier League clubs (Arsenal, Tottenham), La Liga (FC Barcelona), Major League Soccer (FC Cincinnati) and National Basketball Association (Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics). From 2019 to 2023, he led the largest European research grant on soccer fans, titled “Perception of Club Rivalry. “Perception of club rivalries by soccer fans: a comparative analysis of the Visegrad Group countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia)” funded by the National Science Center.
