A former Polish decathlete specializing in athletics, an Olympian, and a Polish record holder. He is an Indoor European Champion (1998) and an Indoor World Vice-Champion (1999). He has won numerous Polish Championships. Currently, he is the Vice President of the Polish Athletics Association.
