President of the Board of the Best Place Foundation - the European Institute of Place Marketing

An international expert in territorial marketing, a passionate advocate for destination branding and urban development. He has been involved in advising local government units (LGUs) for 20 years. He graduated from the University of Łódź with a degree in Spatial Economics – City and Regional Management, and from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (London/Warsaw). As a consultant at the Polish Tourism Development Agency in Warsaw in the early 2000s, he was one of the co-creators of the first marketing and branding strategies for the development of many cities and regions in Poland, including the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the city of Łeba, the Suwałki region, the Supraśl spa, and others. Later, he became the editor of the section dedicated to place marketing in Brief4Poland, a marketing magazine. Since 2010, he has been the initiator and president of the board of the Best Place Foundation – the European Institute of Place Marketing (www.bestplaceinstitute.org), which is a widely recognized and respected expert organization providing high-level advisory services to cities and regions. Since 2019, he has been a collaborator of the Association of Polish Cities on advisory projects for small and medium-sized Polish cities, including the “Local Development” project funded by EEA funds, as well as the Advisory Support Center for municipal partnerships.
